Amrita Prakash was born on 12 May, 1987 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Her father Dr. Prakash Bakshi is the Chairman of NABARD. She holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Mumbai.
Amrita Prakash is a beautiful Indian film and television actress. She has appeared in Bollywood and Malayalam films. She has been noticed in several TV prints, ads, TV shows and commercials. She became India’s little sweetheart when she played the lovable character of Milli in “Tum Bin” at the age of 12. She was last seen in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya on Zee Zing.
Amrita entered in the field of acting at the age of 4. She is mainly recognised for anchoring the reality show for Kids “Fox Kids”. She was critically acclaimed for her performance in the Malayalam film “Manjupoloru Penkutty” and also nominated for very prestigious “National State Awards” in the Best Actress Category.
Later she played a crucial role in the superhit movie “Vivah” starring Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao in the lead. Amrita went on to work with Rajshri Films post Vivaah and played the character of Sandhya in Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi. She played a small part in Dharma Productions We Are Family.
