Daniel Anthony Padilla (pronounced Pa-Dee-Ya) better known only as Anthony Padilla, (born September 16, 1987), is an American YouTuber and comedian from Los Angeles, California and a former member of Smosh. He is Ian’s best friend and the founder of Smosh Productions. On June 14, 2017 Anthony officially announced he had left Smosh to become an independent creator.
Internet sensation who gained fame on YouTube with the comedy group Smosh. He announced he was leaving the group in mid-2017. He runs a self-titled YouTube channel, which has earned over 1.8 million subscribers.
Anthony is also well-known for his animations that he made on Newgrounds in early 2003. He is a producer and writer, known for Smosh: The Movie (2015), If [Blank] Were Real (2009) and Smosh (2005).
Anthony was often shown as smarter, obedient, and more mature than Ian (though their personalities are hardly different) as he often knows much more about the world than Ian does, which is shown throughout Smosh: The Movie.
