Baba Ramdev is a yoga guru known for his work in Ayurveda, business, politics and agriculture. He was born on 25 December 1965 in the town of Mahendragarh to Ram Niwas Yadav and Gulabo Devi.He attended school till grade eight in Shahjadpur in Harayana and then joined Indian scripture, Yoga and Sanskrit in various Gurukuls. He has also founded the Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust in Haridwar, an institution that does research in the healing powers of yoga and Ayurveda. A large number of people and many celebrities in India and abroad have attended his yoga camps.Establishment of Patanjali Yogpeeth and Patanjali Ayurved marked a major mile-stone in his career.
