Eknathrao Ganpatrao Khadse is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and was a prominent minister of the BJP administration in Maharashtra. He was born on 2 September 1952 at kothali village, Maharashtra. Currently he resides at Muktainagar, Jalgaon. He was elected to the position of Opposition Leader in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly in November 2010. He represents Muktainagar (Assembly constituency) in Jalgaon district of North Maharashtra. He was the state Finance minister and later additionally took on the responsibility of the Agriculture ministry in the Shiv Sena/BJP government. He is the seniormost person in the party.

Khadse’s father was a farmer. Khadse’s native place is kothali. Kothali is a village on the banks of Purna river, near muktainagar. He is married to Mandatai Khadse. His son, Nikhil Khadase, committed suicide on 1 May 2013. He has two daughters Sharda Chaudhari, Rohini Khewalkar.
