Monica Sehgal is an Indian actress who made her debut on television with Dosti…Yariyaan…Manmarziyan which aired on Star Plus. Monica was born and brought up in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. She came to Mumbai to complete her education. She has completed graduation and post-graduation from Xavier’s College, Mumbai. She always wanted to become a television host.
She has participated in a digital competition initiated by Swastik Pictures titled jugaad. It was then that she received a call from producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary who offered her a role in their show. People often call her Sandhya Mridul due to her striking resemblance with the ‘Page 3’ actress. However, Monica has no problem with it and feels ‘honoured’ to be compared to Sandhya. She was last seen in the historical show Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat which airs on Colors. She will soon be seen in the Web Series ‘Starting Up’.
