Pooja Sharma was born and brought up in Delhi and then moved to Mumbai for making her career in acting. She always had a keen interest in acting rather than modelling. During her college days, she was selected for a sports-based talk show for Doordarshan India. She has also hosted some shows for Zoom and done TVCs and Ramp Shows. Pooja Sharma is a dear friend of TV actress Aishwarya Sakhuja.
Pooja Sharma is an Indian model-turned actress. She made her acting debut from Star Plus “Teri Meri Love Stories” with Karan Kundra. She was one of the top 10 finalists in Femina Miss India 2006. She was seen playing the role of Draupadi in the mythological serials ‘Mahabharat’ on Star Plus.
Pooja Sharma has started her career with modeling and kept the world in surprise with her performance in Mahabharat. Apart from modeling she has done anchoring, hosting and ads. She made her acting debut from Star Plus “Teri Meri Love Stories” opposite Karan Kundra. As she was a host and due to her voice and looks the casting director of “Mahabharat” called her and asked to come for the auditions. Fianlly she was selected and played the role as Draupadi. Later in 2014, she made a cameo in Big Magic’s popular show, Ajab Gajab Ghar Jamai.
