Anushka Sharma was born on May 1, 1988 to Col. Ajay Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma in Ayodhya, U.P.. Her father works in Indian Army who hails from Uttar Pradesh and mother is a housewife belongs to Garhwali. She was brought up in Bangalore and completed her studies from Army School. She is a graduate in Arts from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Yash Chopra’s romantic film “Jab Tak Hai Jaan”.

According to the sources, Anushka is dating Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. Virat recently posted a cute picture with Anushka Sharma on his social media account and captioned it, “Everyday is a valentine day if you want it to be.
