Heena Sidhu is an Indian shooter who has won several gold medals for India in the shooting category. She has made India proud by winning a gold medal in 2018 Common Wealth games. The Punjabi girl began her shooting career quite late in class 12th but within a year was seen as a professional shooter thanks to the training and hard work.
She is married to fellow Indian shooter, Ronak Pandit in 2013. Heena Sidhu has been the face of shooting in India and has changed the way the game is looked at in India. Ever since Heena won her first gold medal in 2008 she has been strongly critical of patriarchal beliefs in sport that still stop women from playing certain sports.
