In Pro Kabaddi League’s Season One, Mohit Chillar, all of 21 then, made his maiden visit to Mumbai. He may not have had the time to explore the city, but he surely made a mark with U Mumba in the inaugural season. Defending the Right Corner, Chillar made himself a critical part of the team’s defence strategy. He continued his unshakable defence throughout Season Two as well, earning him a call up for the 2016 National Camp, for the first time.
Hailing from Nizampur near the capital, Chillar works with the NorthWest Railway at Jodhpur and is a Science graduate. He has been playing kabaddi like many of his contemporaries and friends from his town, and has pursued the sport since childhood. He has played at the SGFI (School Games Federation of India) and aspires to make it to the Indian national team.
In Maximum City again for a brand new season with U Mumba, Chillar will haunting opponents yet again with his iron grip defence.
