R. Madhavan is an Indian actor, writer, film producer and television host. She was born on 1 June 1970 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand to Ranganathan and Saroja into a Tamil family. His father was a management executive in Tata Steel and his mother, was a manager in the Bank of India. After completing his graduation in electronics, he was chosen to represent India as its cultural ambassador from Rajaram College, Kolhapur to Canada. After completing the degree, he went on to teach communication and public speaking at workshops around India. Just at the age of 22, he was awarded as Maharashtra NCC Best Cadet and because of this honour, he has received training with the Royal Army, the Navy and the Air Force. But he missed it due to the age criteria with six months. He began his acting career with ZEE TV’s soap opera Banegi Apni Baat in 1996. . Madhavan owns a production company named Leukos Films, which produced his 2007 film Evano Oruvan. He was seen in the movie Saala Khadoos.R.Madhavan got married to Sarita Birje in the year 1999.
