Reena was born in Tampa, Florida and was enrolled in the George Washington University for her education. After her graduation in B.A. in Political communication, she started her career as an anchor for World News Now. She also has worked for America This Morning and has also been the reporter for Good Morning America. Her other endeavors include reporting for the 20/20, Nightline and other broadcasts for the ABC television.
