Amit Behl is an Indian theatre, television and film actor. Behl began his career in 1994 with a role in India’s first daily soap opera Shanti. He later went on to do almost 100 TV serials in Hindi, English, Marathi, Punjabi and Urdu. He has degrees in engineering and management. He currently has roles in Zee TV serial Buddha.and the Life OK series Savitri . Currently he is seen in Channel V’s thriller Friends Conditions Apply. Amit Behl has also worked in serials like Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat and Pradhanmantri.Behl has acted in over 30 feature films in Hindi and English. He also has anchored over 100 corporate films and documentaries, acted in advertising films, and served as a voice actor in advertisements and foreign language dubbing. Currently he is portraying the role as Amatya Rakshasa in TV serial Samrat Ashoka.Amit Behl was greatly appreciated for his performances in the star plus show Dahleez. He has also worked on stage on Gulzar’s adaptation of O henry’s stories and the critically acclaimed play ‘Paansa’ based on Pavan K Verma’s Yudhishtir & Draupadi, adapted by Gulzar. He has worked with Shyam Benegal in Samvidhaan & Jang e Azaadi. Currently he is seen on Zee tv’s Woh Apna Sa…Amit has worked in some very significant Hindi feature films like JP Dutta’s LOC Kargil, Farhan Akhtar’s Lakshya.He has played significant parts in Bheja Fry-2, Ishq hai Tumse, Shivaay, Tum Milo to Sahi & various other mainstream Hindi feature films. His potrayal of Barabas Hakeswille in the popular British TV series Sharpes Peril with Sean Bean has won him accolades & fans worldwide. Amit is alo a visiting faculty at various Media & Management schools.His lectures on Art, culture & entertainment have been a great source of knowledge to students since the past six years.
