Margot Elise Robbie is an Australian actress and producer was born on 2 July 1990 in Dalby, Australia. She started her career by appearing in Australian independent films in the late 2000s. She was later cast in the soap opera Neighbours (2008–2011), which earned her two Logie Award nominations. Robbie met British assistant director Tom Ackerley on the set of Suite Française, and in December 2016, they married in a private ceremony in Byron Bay. She and Ackerley previously lived in London with two friends. They have since moved to Los Angeles. Margot Elise Robbie was born in Dalby, Queensland, Australia and grew up in Gold Coast hinterland, Queensland. Her parents are Sarie Kessler, a physiotherapist, and Doug Robbie, a former farm owner. Milne, in the drama film Goodbye Christopher Robin (2017). She received critical acclaim for her performance as figure skater Tonya Hardingin the biographical film I, Tonya (2017), receiving a nomination at the 75th Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in a Motion Picture — Comedy or Musical.
