Chahat Khanna was born on July 28, 1986 and brought up in Mumbai. She is quite passionate about acting and started struggling from the age of 16. She loves animals and plants and is also a animal welfare officer with Karuna Pariwar NGO.
Chahat first acted in the TV show Sachi Baat Sabhi Jag Jaane in the year 2002. In the early days, she was seen acting in the dark comedy 7.5 Phere that released in the year 2005. She was earlier playing the role of Ayesha as Priya Kapoor’s sister in the show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain that was telecast on Sony TV. She has now quit the show, though. She has also acted in other shows like Hello Dollie and Shaka Laka Boom Boom.
Later, she even acted in the show Kajjal that aired on Sony TV. She was part of the extremely popular show Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna on Star Plus where she played the role of Freida for two years continuously from 2008-2010.
