Sakshi Tanwar was born on 12 January 1973 in Alwar, Rajasthan. She was educated in many Kendriya Vidyalayas (Central School) and graduated from Lady Shri Ram college in New Delhi. During her preparations for the entrance tests for the administrative services and mass communications, her close friend suggested that she should go and audition for the national broadcaster Doordarshan’s program Albela Sur Mela. She got selected and from there started her journey on television.
Sakshi Tanwar is an Indian television and bollywood actress. She is best known for playing the role of Parvati in the daily soap Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii on star plus. She debuted as an anchor on Doordarshan channel. She was seen in Anil Kapoor’s show 24 season 2 and in the flick Dangal opposite Aamir Khan. She is currently seen in a web series Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat.
