He finished his schooling in SSVM Aundh in Pune and continuing further education in Pune itself. At the college level, he participated in many role plays and Nataks. He was a simple and regular boy in college days.

One day Nagraj Manjule called him for an audition. He expected a small, side role in the movie. But, he got surprised when he came to know that he gets a role as lead actor against a new actress Rinku Rajguru as Archie. He played the character of romantic boy in a movie.
