Sonakshi Sinha is an Indian Bollywood actress.She was born on June 2, 1987. Sonakshi is the daughter of the popular Bollywood actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha and actress Poonam Sinha.She has completed her schooling from Arya Vidya Mandir, Mumbai and graduated in Fashion Designing from Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University, Mumbai.Sonakshi has started her career as a costume designer and designed costumes for the film ‘Mera Dil Leke Dekho’ in 2005. Then she made her Bollywood debut with 2010’s Blockbuster hit “Dabangg” opposite Salman Khan, which went on to be the biggest hit of that year. She won the Filmfare Award for “Best Female Debut”. Later, she starred in some of Bollywood’s biggest hits including Rowdy Rathore, Son of Sardar, Dabangg 2 and many more. She was seen in A R Murugadoss’s action thriller movie Akira and Abhinav Deo’s Force 2.She is a great animal lover and she posed for a PETA campaign advocating the adoption and sterilization of dogs and cats.
