Shahid Kapoor born 25 February 1981, also known as Shahid Khattar, is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi films. The son of actors Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem, Kapoor was born in New Delhi. He has done his schooling from Gyaan Bharathi, Delhi until 4th grade and then shifted to Raajhans Vidyalaya, Mumbai. He is a well trained dancer at Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts (SDIPA). He made his film debut in 2003 with a leading role in the romantic comedy Ishq Vishk with Amrita rao.Shahid Kapoor was also seen as a background dancer in the movie “Taal”. Later he did few commercials like Pepsi and appeared in a music video “Aankhon Me Tera Hi Chehra” by the Aryans alongwith Hrishita Bhatt.Shahid kapoor seen as role of in jhalak dikhla jaa season 8 with Shilpa shetty . Shahid Kapoor got married to Mira Rajput on July 7, 2015.The couple is blessed with a baby girl on August 27, 2016. They named her as Misha, the Russian meaning of the name, Misha means ‘God Like’.
