Abhaas Mehta is an Indian Television actor. He shot to fame for playing the role of Shyam in famous Serial Iss pyar ko kya naam doon, which was aired on star plus. He has also played various roles in other daily soaps. He was last seen in Zee TV’s show Brahmarakshas.
Abhaas completed his education from Boarding school till 12th. Then he pursued his law education from Pune. He took the training for acting from veteran actor Anupam Kher’s acting school and then started his acting with the show Bairi piya on colors.
Abhaas Mehta will soon be part of Colors upcoming mythological drama, ‘Maha Kaali’. Buzz is that, he will play the role of a devil, who will fight against Goddess Kaali. The show will also star Pooja Sharma, Nikita Sharma, Kanan Malhotra, Nikhil Arya, Saurabh Raj Jain and many more. The series is likely to air in July.
