She was brought up in a musical family with her father being a singer. His name was Prakash Wayangankar and she went to Mumbai University where she graduated in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. With an ever ending music passion, she started working on TV and her very first show aired in 2012.
Tejasswi is seen in a royal drama, ‘Pehredar Piya Ki’. She is playing the role of Princess Diya opposite child actor Afaan Khaan aka Prince Ratan. The story of the serial is set in Rajasthan. Diya would be seen sacrificing her desires and interests for welfare of Prince Ratan and would act as a shield always protecting ratan.
