Ankita Sharma is an Indian television actress.She was born on 7 February 1987, in New Delhi and later moved to Mumbai for her acting career.Ankita started her television career in 2009 with the character of Ratna Singh, in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo on Zee TV She has received a good acceptance for her roles in various fiction shows. Before stepping into acting field, she has worked as an employee for Infosys Technology Solutions in Pune. In 2008, she has received a Visharad Degree for her lessons in Dance and Choreography in Delhi. She was never into the acting zone, untill one day she received her first call from Sagar Picture for the movie ‘Alah Udhal’ where she played the role of a co-star.She gained much recognition for playing the lead female character as Nimrit Malik, in Life OK’s serial Amrit Manthan. She was last seen as Noor Khorasan in the mythological saga Chakravartin Ashok Samrat. Currently, she is seen in Colors’ show Devanshi. Ankita got engaged to Mayank Sharma on 24 January 2015.Ankita was married on 9 March 2015.
