Shibani Dandekar is a popular singer, actress, anchor and model. was born on 27 August 1981 in Pune, Maharashtra. She was brought up into a Marathi-speaking chitpavan family.She has hosted several television shows including some international television shows in the past. Shibani along with her sisters formed a music band named D-Major. Shibani has won a nomination award at the 11th Indian Television Academy Awards in the category Best Anchor Game/Quiz Show.Shibani grew up in Australia and later moved to New York, US and started her career by working in American television. She has hosted three television shows, Namaste America, V Desi and the Asian Variety Show.
