Divyendu Sharma was born 13 May 1983 is an Indian film actor best known for his debut role in Pyar Ka Punchnama (2011). Looking at his early days of his theatre life, he did a number of plays including the popular ones called Goal and Hawalat. Once he finally headed to Bombay, he had to struggle a bit to find few ads and finally his first movie produced by Luv Ranjandad. His performance has really being appreciated by one and all, which gave him the award. Later his second movie was also appreciated for carrying out incredible role in it. He has two upcoming movies called Zaalim Dilli and Rave Party, while both of these are into the post production phase and soon, you would find them hitting the theatres to see this talented actor again over the screen. Now, as you dig deep more, you find Pyar Ka Punchnama as his debut movie, wherein he played the above said character called as Liquid. In fact, this role has even helped him secure the Screen Award for Most Promising Newcomer in the Male category apart from garnering a good applauds for the character. He then appeared in another movie under adult comedy category called Chashme Baddoor directed by David Dhawan along with Ali Zaraf and Siddharth playing the character of Omi in it. He was born and brought up in New Delhi, while attached to theatre since past few years in his home city; he finally migrated to Pune to do his acting course from FTII. Divyendu Sharma is a graduate in political science from Delhi University’s Kirori Mal College. He has three years of theatre experience in Delhi after which he pursued a two year diploma in acting from FTII, Pune. He was previously seen in a number of ads for brands like Virgin Mobile, Birla Sun Life and Fidelity Mutual Funds. His debut Bollywood movie was Pyar Ka Punchnama where he played a character called Liquid. For his role in the film, he won the Screen Award for Most Promising Newcomer – Male. He also played the role of the poet Omi in David Dhawan’s remake of Chashme Baddoor. Now he is seen in new upcoming Movie “Total Dhamaal” as a role of Pappu.
