Javed Jaffrey is an Indian actor, dancer, comedian, impressionist, who is well known for his works in Bollywood films and Indian television shows. His Full name is Syed Ahmad Javed Jaffrey was born 4 December 1963 in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father is the famous comedian Jagdeep. He joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in March, 2014 and contested in the Indian general election, 2014 from the Lucknow constituency only to finish 5th. Apart from this, he is much recognized for his performance in Maggi tomato ketchup advertisement aired in 1990s. He has been running and hosting a highly popular dance show called Boogie Woogie since 1995 on Sony Tv. He also did commentary to the famous Japanese television show Takeshi’s Castle on Pogo TV. He was first seen in the film “Meri Jung” in 1985, where his power of acting has been showcased. He is much known for his comic roles and has won his first IIFA award for best comic role in Salaam Namaste in 2006. In 2014 Indian General Elctions, he has joined Aam Aadmi Party and contested from the Lucknow constituency only to finish 5th. He will soon be seen in upcoming comedy movie Total Dhamaal. He is seen as a role of Manav Shrivastav in this movie.
