Gaurav Nanda is a films, TV and theatre actor & the founder of the theatre company “Actor Studio India” ; an international method acting training studio based in India. He studied telecommunication engineering at BMSCE Bangalore. In his first year of college he was selected in an All India talent hunt of MTV Serial Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi for Balaji Telefilms where he was selected among the top six applicants from thousands who came to try their luck in Bangalore.
He started his professional training as an actor and got involved in theatre and method acting training during his college days. He is one of the Top International Method Acting, Corporate, High Performance Conditioning Trainers & Life Transformation Coaches in India.
He specializes in various method acting approaches and techniques governing human behaviour; such as Michael Chekov (Russia),Lee Strasberg (America), Jacques Lecoq Pedagogy (Paris), Stanislavski (Russia), Uta Hagen (America), Sanford Meisner (America) ,Laban Movement Analysis And Neuro-linguistic programming etc.
He is known for his various roles in several Films & TV Projects; few of them being Bandini (TV series) on NDTV Imagine, Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi On Sony, as Mr.Tandon in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein on Star Plus ,as Gulshan in Tu Mera Hero on Star Plus amongst many others . He has recently finished shooting for Film SHAB which is directed by National Award Winning Director Onir.
