Indraneil Sengupta was born 8 September 1974 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India and after moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in modeling and married to actress Barkha Bisht, who was his co-star in Doli Saja Ke and Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam and they have a daughter Meira.
Indraneil starred his career from modeling. He was the finalist of the 1999 Gladrags Manhunt Contest, Later, he transitioned into music videos which include one each for Falguni Pathak’s “Pal pal tere yaad sataye” and Jagjit Singh, he appeared in films like- Hindi film Shukriya: Till Death Do Us Apart as Yash, Mumbai Salsa as Karan Kapoor, horror film 1920 as Mohan Kant, Bengali film Angshumaner as Angshuman, Hindi film Kahaani as Arnav Bagchi and Satyagraha as Akhilesh, First he played role on television as Shyaam in Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam, the appeared in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann as Tushar, Babul Ki Bitiya Chali Doli Saja Ke as Daksh and Maayka as Angad, Currently playing role as Rohan in very popular and famous Indian television drama show Tumhari Pakhi on Life OK and starred in Bollywood movies Mumbai Salsa and Kahaani.
