Veda Krishnamurthy was a tomboy and started off playing gully cricket from a very young age. She was selected into senior state team at the young age of 13. She was the best fielder in the scene as prior to joining cricket, she was already a double black belt in Karate. She made her debut in 2011 against England and scored a brilliant half-century. She herself admitted that she got complacent after that knock on her and was out of the team for next three years.
She was with the Indian railways in Delhi and made a comeback in 2014. Since her comeback, she has never looked back and played some crucial knock for his side.
