Jimmy shergill is indian actor & producer . Jimmy Shergill or Jasjit Singh Gill was born on December 3, 1970 into a Sikh family in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. He studied in St. Paul’s School, Lucknow for some years and then shifted to his ancestral place in Punjab. There he joined The Punjab Public School, Nabha and Bikram College, Punjabi University, Patiala. Later, he learnt acting from Sri Harpal Singh and then moved to Mumbai to work in the entertainment industry. He has started his acting career with the film “Maachis” in 1996. Later, he gained recognition for films like Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, Mohabbatein, Munnabhai MBBS, Yahaan, Lage Raho Munnabhai, My Name is Khan and many more. Jimmy also featured in the flick Tanu Weds Manu Returns. He was seen in Punjabi film Shareek opposite Mahie Gill.
