Labh Janjua was born in Year 1957 in Jat family and originally belongs from the city of Khanna, in the Ludhiana district of Punjab, India.Labh Janjua was an Indian bhangra and hip hop singer and songwriter, he is best known for his bhangrasongs, such as “Bair Bura Hunda Jatt da”, “Jatt Di Nazar Buri”, “Goli Jatt Ne Katcheri’ch Chaloni “, “Jatt Marda”, “Soni De Nakhre Sone lagde” and “Mundian To Bach Ke”, which was remixed by Panjabi MC in 1998, and re-released in 2002.He was just 57 years old.He learned music by attending kirtans by his grandfather and he won several prizes for singing in school and college.He was born and brought up in village Majra, Khanna in the Ludhiana district of Punjab, India. He was currently a resident of both Mumbai and Khanna City, where he learned music under a well-known local teacher, late Jaswant Bhanwra.Labh’s dead body was discovered by his friend and taken to Cooper Hospital for post mortem, but no till now, no death reason were found. “He was not feeling well so I took him to the hospital last night where he was diagnosed with acidity. In the morning I got a call from his wife, who stays in Punjab, saying he was not answering his phone. When nobody answered the door, we called the police and discovered he was dead,” his friend told the press.
