She is the daughter of Punjabi father, Anil Arora and a Malayali Catholic mother, Joyce Polycarp. Her father worked in the Merchant Navy. She completed her secondary education at Swami Vivekanand School in Chembur, Mumbai. She has done her graduation from Jai Hind College, Churchgate. She lived in Borla Society, Chembur opposite Basant Talkies before starting her modeling career.has started her career as a MTV VJ when MTV was launched in India. MTV India gave her prime time roles in their shows “Love Line” and “Style Check”. She also hosted award ceremonies and concerts on the television channel.After working in MTV it move towards modling field.She is famous for her item songs like Chaiyya Chaiyya and Munni Badnaam Hui. She turned film producer in 2008, with her husband, Arbaaz Khan. Their company Arbaaz Khan Productions has released its first film, Dabangg. She was seen judging India’s Got Talent.
