She is very much close to her father. She has completed her primary schooling from Assam and then moved to Patna where she studied in St. Karen’s High School. She did further schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sadiq Nagar, New Delhi. She studied Commerce specialised in Economics from Miranda House, Delhi University.She has participate in a Zee TV’s singing reality show Idea Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj.
