Preetika Rao is an Indian model, writer and an actress. was born in Bhatkal, Karnataka and brought up in Mumbai. She has graduated in History Majors from Sophia College, Mumbai and simultaneously did diploma courses in advertising and journalism. During her college education, she was seen in Cadbury Dairy Milk advertisement with the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. She is known for her works in Tamil industry. She debuted with the Telugu movie “Priyudu” in 2011 also Later, she made her Tamil debut with the romantic film “Chikku Bukku”. After her films, she moved to US for further improvement in her writing skills and to study broadcast journalism She was last seen essaying the role of Aaliya in the popular TV show Beintehaa on Colors.
