Rajat Kapoor was born 11 February 1961 (age 56) in Delhi.He is an Indian Actor,Director and Writer.He is best known for movie known for Ankhon Dekhi(2013), Raghu Romeo (2003) and Bheja Fry (2007). In 1983 Rajat Kapoor joined the theatre group Chingari in Delhi, later moving to Pune to attend the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII).He completed his schooling from local school in Delhi. Next, he enrolled in the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune and completed his higher education in acting and filmmaking.He is Multitalented Actor,Rajat was passionate toward acting and direction from early childhood. At the age of 14, he decided to become a filmmaker. At first, he started his career as an actor in the 1989 film ‘Khayal Gatha’.Other movies of Kapoor are ‘Mixed Doubles’, ‘Mithya’ and ‘Fatso!’. His movies are realistic and experimental in nature. Plus, he tries to explore different dimensions of our lives and society. His last release was ‘Ankhon Dekhi’ featuring Sanjay Mishra in the lead role.He is married with Meenal Agarwal, a photographer-production designer in 1996 and has two children. A daughter Rabia and a son Vivan. He did his schooling in Happy school daryaganj padam chand marg road.
