Samidha Guru was born 6 August 1980, is a Marathi theater, film and television actress from Nagpur, India. For her education, she went to Lokanchi Shala in Nagpur. Later she also completed her BSc and was a teacher in a school in Nagpur for two years, before entering the world of acting.
Her family also has background in theatre and writing. Additionally, her sister is a kathak dancer. She has played many roles in TV soaps and also small roles in good movies like Bahina Bai in Tukaram. Get Well Soon is a long running play which she has acted with Swapnil Joshi.
