Farah Khan was born on 9 January 1965 in Mumbai. She has done her education in Sociology from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. She was inspired by Michael Jackson and then took up dancing as her profession. She has learned dancing by her own and got her first break with the movie Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, starring Aamir Khan. She has choreographed more than hundred songs which includes Munni Badnam hui, Sheila Ki Jawani and many more. She has acted in the movie Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi. She has won 6 Filmfare awards for Best Choreography. She has worked in television as host and also judged for various shows.
Farah Khan is an Indian film director, producer, actress and choreographer. She has directed films like Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om and Happy New Year featuring her best friend Shahrukh Khan in all. She has also worked in many international projects like Marigold: An Adventure in India, Monsoon Wedding and the Chinese film Perhaps Love. She was seen judging Indian Idol Season 7 alongwith Sonu Nigam and Anu Malik.
