Aditi Bhagwat was born 18 January 1981 is an internationally renowned kathak and lavani expert, actress, dance tutor and choreographer. Aditi is based in Mumbai where she operates the Aditi Dance Academy training young and aspiring pupils in kathak. She travels all around the world participating in stage shows performing solo as well as in collaboration with many other Indian music artits. Aditi has been awarded the title of “Nalanda Nritya Nipun” by Nalanda Dance and Research Academy, Mumbai in 2007.
Few of the awards won by her are the Nalanda Nritya Nipun puraskar and the One Beat Fellowship from USA. She also runs her own Dance training academy and visits other countries regularly to conduct training workshops as well as shows there.
Though dance is her primary passion, she has acted in over 8 – 10 films and a few TV shows as well. In 2016, she plays the lead role in the movie Shasan opposite Bharat Jadhav.
