She then pursued a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Marketing in college. She wanted to become a teacher and had enrolled for a course in teaching but later started doing modelling.She has modelled for many magazines such as Just Seventeen, Asian Woman, and Asiana. She has also modelled for designers Ralph Lauren and FCUK. She then ventured into film, making her debut with the 2007 Telugu feature Shankar Dada Zindabad. And then She again played an lead role in the movie Glamour released in 2010. Karishma Kotak is single and not dating anyone. She said that she would like to settle down with someone from a business family.
