Sanjay Narvekar is a Marathi and Hindi Film Actor and stage actor,he was born in Sindhudurg.He has played lead roles in many a Marathi movie and supporting roles in Hindi films. His portrayal of Sanjay Dutt’s sidekick ‘Dedh Phutiya’ (lit. One and a half-footer, referring to the short stature of his character) in the popular Hindi film Vaastav: The Reality was appreciated by critics and audiences alike. His on-screen portrayal of a simple underdog, son of the soil guy next door remains his most characteristic and endearing feature in most of his films as well as his real life.
