Sharman Joshi was born on 28 April 1979 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He has a special and unique style of acting. Besides acting, he also hosted a game show at Real T.V. called PokerFace: Dil Sachcha Chehra Jhootha, which was based on a British game show called PokerFace. He has also been involved with numerous advertising campaigns such as Perk, Nokia, Airtel, 7 Up and Kara Skin Wipes.
Sharman Joshi is an Indian theatre and film actor, who has worked for various stage productions in English, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati languages. He made his film debut with Godmother in 1999. But he rose to high by doing films like Rang De Basanti, Golmaal, Life in a… Metro and 3 Idiots. He was seen in the movie Wajah Tum Ho.
Sharman Joshi is an amazing theatre artist, who has played a deaf character in Gujarati version of popular play, All the Best. He has done over 550 stage shows in the short span of three years. He has made his film debut in the 1999 art film, Godmother.
Apart from all other films that he has done, his 2009 film 3 Idiots, alongside Aamir Khan was a huge box-office blast. He is noted for his free and naturalistic style of acting. He has been honored with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film and Television.
