Girish Kumar Taurani is a bollywood actor and son of producer Kumar Taurani. He was born on January 30, 1989 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He made his Bollywood debut with Ramaiya Vastavaiya, directed by Prabhudheva starring Shruti Haasan as a female lead. He was seen in the flick Loveshhuda.
In 2013, Girish made his debut in Bollywood with romantic film Ramaiya Vastavaiya, directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by his father Kumar S. Taurani, who is the director of Tips Industries Limited. Prabhu Deva decided to have an audition for him. As a result, Girish had to perform on a few scenes and also a dance number.
Though Prabhu liked his performance, he felt that his quality was not up to the mark. He talked with his parents about giving him some dance training and later, he selected some 25 songs and gave them to Girish so that he could practice upon them. He also appointed few choreographers who worked on a daily basis with Girish in order to prepare him well for all forms of dances.
