Sonal was born on 12 June 1993 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She has obtained Bachelor of Arts degree from Mumbai University. She was an average student and wanted to pursue a course in Hotel management. Her father is a chef and so she always wanted to become a chef but due to some reasons, she could not pursue the course. She did an event management for some time and then one day she saw a poster of a TV show and that’s when acting clicked in her mind and she got attracted towards the showbiz.

She was seen in the popular serials The Buddy Project and Dil Dosti Dance. She shot to fame for playing the role of Devyani in daily soap Shastri Sisters on Colors. She was seen in the show Yeh Vaada Raha which aired on Zee Tv.
Sonal is the successful television actress, who has initiated her career with small roles. After playing several roles she has appeared in the serial Haunted Nights as main lead Nandini. She has also played the lead as Rukmini in Pyar Ya Dehshat on BIG Magic. She played pivotal role in the serials The Buddy Project and Dil Dosti Dance.
