Kanika Kapoor is an Indian playback singer, who predominantly sings for the Hindi language films. Through her successful singing career. Kanika Kapoor was born on 23 March, 1981. She was born and brought up in a Punjabi Khatri family in Lucknow, Uttar Pardesh. She learnt classical music from Pundit Ganesh Prasad Mishra from Banaras . She has done B.A.in her graduation and pursued her Masters degree in music from Bhatkhande Music Institute in Lucknow. at the age of 12 and soon she accompanied this man for a number of classical concerts in India.Kanika Kapoor was married at the age of 18 to Raj Chandok, who is an NRI businessman and moved to London with her husband. she had three children- two daughters and one son. she separated from her husband in 2007 and moved back to her parents home in Lucknow and they got divorced in 2012 and then she moved to Mumbai and started her career in singing.She singer, who rose into stardom with Baby Doll song from the movie Ragini MMS 2.she got Best Female Playback Singer every year since 2012 for various songs like “Lovely”,”Baby Doll”,”Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan”
