Navjot Singh Sidhu is a former Indian Cricketer, a commentator, a motivator, an entertainer and also a Member of Parliament from Amritsar between 2004 to 2014.Sidhu was born on 20th October 1963, in Patiala in a Jat Sikh family. His father Sardar Bhagwant Singh Sidhu wanted his son be the top spot in International cricket.Sidhu briefly studied in Mumbai at HR College of Commerce and Economics . Navjot Singh Siddhu age when he took the office in 2004 as Member of Parliament was 41 years. He was selected for the 1987 Cricket World Cup in India. He scored 73 runs on his One Day International debut match against Australia. He scored his first ODI century against Pakistan in 1989. Siddhu scored his only Test double century on India’s tour to West Indies in 1997. Sidhu’s highest score of 201 in Tests was against West Indies. He was very famous for attacking spinners and had shot eight sixes in his 124 runs against Sri Lanka in 1993-94. He announced his retirement in December 1999. Siddhu had played over 100 ODIs and 50 Test matches holding a score of more than 7,000 runs.Siddhu appeared as a contestant on the reality show “Bigg Boss 6” .
