Udita Goswami is a famous model and actress who appears in Hindi films. She was born on 9th February 1984 in Dehradun. Her father is originally from Varanasi and her her mother hails from Shillong, Meghalaya. Udita spent some of her childhood years in Kathmandu, Nepal. She went to D.A.V. Public School and studied there till 8th standard. Further she went to Maa Anandmayi Memorial School. She always wanted to pursue her career in showbiz. So she wanted to shift to Mumbai for better career opportunities. Her parents opposed her initially. But then agreed and gave her a permission to decide her career.

After shifting to Mumbai, Udita shortly was noticed by MTV. She was a winner of MTV Model Mission 2. After that she did modeling for big brands like Titan Watches, Pepsi, Nokia and many others. Udita soon shifted her career from modeling to acting. Her debut film in the Bollywood is ‘Paap’ by Pooja Bhatt with John Abraham. The film could not do much at the box office but Udita was noticed in that film. Her next was ‘Zeher’ with Emraan Hashmi and Shamita Shetty. This was her breakthrough role which gave her fame in the industry. She essayed a role of a femme fatale in this film. Her next was ‘Aksar’ with Emraan Hashmi and Dino Morea.

Udita was in a long term relationship with director Mohit Suri. They got married in Janurary 2013. The beautiful actress is also involved in a political awareness program and has appeared in a show organized for the ‘Sick Kids Foundation’.
