Srilatha Yanger was also born in Tamil Nadu to Rajeshwari Yanger and Ayyapan Yanger and had dreams to enter movies like her sister Sridevi. Her movie journey is not known very well.

Silatha and Sridevi were quite close siblings though the elder sister achieved all the fame. Srilatha Yanger and Sridevi had a big fallout due to a land dispute. The land dispute was taken to the court which soured relations between the sisters badly.
