Adhuna Akhtar is a renowned hairstylist, and she is the wife of Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar. She was born as Adhuna Bhabani on 30th March 1967 in a Bengali family. She is the daughter of Dr. Ashish Bhabani and an English mother named Ann. She has a younger brother named Osh Bhabani.
Adhuna Akhtar’s mother was very particular about her hair. And, there was something about the environment of that place which made her want to become a hairstylist. She then joined for a training course at Worthington Hair, a salon in Northwest England. And, she had also participated and won the under-21 national junior hairstyling championship at the age of 17. In 1998, she first launched her salon, Juice, with her brother in Mumbai. But, after some time, they changed the name to BBLUNT. She is a very talented hairstylist. She made her Bollywood debut as a hairstylist in 2001 with Farhan Akhtar’s movie Dil Chahta Hai. Dil Chahta Hai is a 2001 Indian comedy-drama film starring Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Preity Zinta, Sonali Kulkarni, and Dimple Kapadia And, that was a path-breaking film in many ways – including the looks of the actors.
On 2000, Adhuna Akhtar married to Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar. And, they had two daughters named Shakya and Akira. But, in January 2016, they announced their separation and had filed for divorce.
