Arjun Rampal was born on 26 November, 1972 to Amarjeet Rampal and Gwen Rampal in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. He came from a high class Ramgariha Punjabi Sikh family. His mother is a school teacher, where he studied. Arjun Rampal, along with his younger sister, pursued his education at the prestigious Kodaikanal International School located in Palani Hills, Tamil Nadu.
Later he has done college from Hindu College, University of Delhi. He went to Delhi to complete his education. After that he met India’s well known fashion designers, Rohit Bal who made him a supermodel. He was the proclaimed Society’s Face Of The Year, 1994 and later stepped into Bollywood.
Arjun Rampal is an Indian model turned film actor. He made his acting debut with the film “Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat”, which gained him appreciations for his performance. He shot to fame by playing a supporting role in “Don”, in 2006. He has established his own production company “Chasing Ganesha Films” and became a film producer with “I See You”, in which he played the main lead. Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda and Music director duo Salim-Sulaiman will own a stake partnering in different teams in the world’s first Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) “Super Fight League”.
Arjun Rampal made his acting debut with Rajiv Rai’s Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat opposite Sunil Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani and Kirti Reddy. Later he was seen in Deewaanapan opposite Dia Mirza. He played the role of a blind person in movie Aankhen, in which he starred with ensemble cast featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Sushmita Sen and Paresh Rawal. He played a negative role in Om Shanti Om, which was hit at box office.
He gave an excellent performance in the film Rock On!!. In 2011, he played the negative role in the science fiction movie Ra.One. He was also seen on small screen as one of the three judges of Nach Baliye 4 alongwith Farah Khan and Karisma Kapoor.
