Akanksha Puri is a model turned actress. She made her debut in Bollywood with Madhur Bhandarkar’s Calendar Girls. she was boen on July 26, 1988 at Bhopal,Madhya pradesh.She is the daughter of RK Puri, a retired Assistant commissioner and Chitra Puri, an Astrologer.she has done her schooling from a convent in Bhopal.Akanksha Puri was an air hostess in Kingfisher Airlines Bengaluru. When she was working as an air hostess, her coordinator in flight suggested her to start modelling. Akanksha deals modelling projects during her short stint as international cabin crew. She was then spotted by big production house in south following which she bagged her first project as an actor in a Tamil movie. She got break in tamil movie Alex Pandian.She made her bollywood debut with Madhur Bhandarkar’s 2015 drama film Calendar Girls.
